Adler and Allan teams set for charity challenge!

Team A+Ardvark

This year’s Race the Sun Brecon Beacons event will see two Adler and Allan teams take part in a fantastic challenge on Saturday 27th June, which involves a punishing 45 mile cycle, a gruelling 2,907ft climb up Pen y Fan, culminating in a 3km canoe on Pontsticill Reservoir, Powys, South Wales.

Starting at sunrise and finishing by sunset, our very own Team Aardvark will be thrashing it out in aid of Action Medical Research, a charity dedicated to improving the health of babies and children. All funds raised will make a huge difference to the work of this charity, offering hope to the many thousands of families across the UK who are dealing with the trauma of a baby born too early, striving to support a child affected by disability, or facing the challenge of caring for a child with a rare and devastating disease for which there is no cure.

Our two powerhouse teams of four are:
Team A+Ardvark I
Tim Roberts (Manager), Peter Lohan (Northern Area Manager), Jo Billington (PA to Managing Director) and Nathan Male (Contaminated Land Manager)

Team A+Ardvark II
Dave Whiskerd (Operations Director), Ida Tabis (Environmental Consultant), Mark Wallis (Group Health & Safety Advisor) and Andy Billington (Group Operations Manager)

...a quick note to thank you and your staff for your assistance on what was quite a challenging project and for the professional way in which it was carried out. I am extremely pleased and relieved that the work went smoothly and without incident.

The prompt response was really good. The lads on each occasion worked really well and did an excellent job.

The entire team that attended today were completely professional and are a credit to Adler And Allan. Due to the nature and extent of the works, they were monitored throughout the activity and at no point did they conduct themselves in a less than professional manner. The works were visible to all persons within the building and demonstrated the professional supply partners that Norland use. Well done!
