As the UK continues to be deluged by flooding, Adler & Allan is supporting businesses in Britain’s worst hit regions, helping them defend against and clean-up flood water to protect assets and safeguard the environment.
Adler & Allan is currently working with a number of commercial customers drafting in assistance from A&A’s service centre’s in Cumbria, Carlisle, Teeside, Tunbridge Wells, Manchester and Droitwich. We have been checking the integrity of fuel tanks, carrying out physical tank dips to see if water has breached underground storage vessels, sent out tankers and high-volume pumps, with flood response services delivered by our expert, nationwide teams.
With yet more flooding predicted, additional Adler & Allan’s operatives are waiting in the wings to mobilise quickly in order to deal with further risk to businesses. Once the rain has subsided, we will be instrumental in the subsequent clean-up operation, sanitising equipment, preventing pollution and getting sites and their assets back up and running as quickly as possible.
Adler & Allan’s flood protection capabilities

Flood risk assessments: A flood risk assessment (FRA) will determine the potential risks of flooding to a site, with recommendations being given on how best to tackle the threat.
Flood defences: Following a flood risk assessment, we can advise appropriate flood defence measures. Flood defences available through Adler & Allan, include JBAR, a modular flood defence system that prevents spills as well as mitigating against flood water.
